刍议历史教学中反思教学的重要性

摘要:反思教学作为一种由西方引进的先进的教学模式,其应用领域极其广阔,对全世界教育体系的发展也产生了极为重要的影响。现阶段,将反思教学应用到中学历史教学中,可以提高教师教学的质量,也能积极促进学生对历史课程的学习。因此,本文将主要结合中学历史教学的实际情况,针对历史教学中运用反思教学的重要性展开论述。

关键词:历史教学;反思教学;重要性

 

在先进的知识体系下,教师教学模式和教学方法也出现了重要的变化。在我国现今的教育体系下,我们需要思考这样一个问题:那就是在中学教师多样化教学的背景下,教师将更多的关注点放在学生的学习成绩和学习效果上,而忽视了教学内在品质和本位立足点。从以上原因出发,笔者认为有必要将反思教学融入中学历史教学中,促进教师在教学中的成长,为我国的教育事业建立一支强大的反思型教师队伍,促进我国教育事业的繁荣发展。

一、反思性教学的内涵

反思性教学源于上世纪八十年代风行的一场反思思潮,后经历代教育家将这种思潮融入到教学中,才衍生出反思性教学理论。关于反思教学理论,比较著名的有约翰·杜威的“反思性思维”理论和唐纳德·萧恩的“反思性教学”理论。约翰·杜威可谓是反思教学的开山之祖,他把反思定义为“对任何信念或假定的知识形式,根据支持它的基础和它趋于达到的进一步结论而进行的积极的、坚持不懈的和仔细的考虑”,基于此种理论,约翰·杜威提出了“反思性思维”的理念,将反思活动深入到了思维领域,对于反思思维和反思活动的发展有着重要的作用。

对于反思性教学,麻省理工大学的唐纳德·萧恩教师将之系统化,他从教师的专业角度出发,指出了教师在专业性知识出现不确定或模糊时进行的一切思考活动,都属于教师的反思行为,这种行为既包括教师在课前对教学的计划、进度、难易程度等的思考,也包括课后的总结以及课堂上一切活动的思考。教师的教学反思可以对学生在课程学习中的一切行为进行思考,并为学生提供行动指南,或对学生行为结果进行预测。

随着反思教学的盛行,我国的教育界也开始逐渐关注反思教学,他们深化了反思教学的理论,并创建了符合本国教育情况的反思教学理论,如张建伟就将教师在教学中的反思行为看作是“一种通过提高参与者的自我觉察水平来促进能力大战的途径”,同时,他也将教师的反思行为看作是教师在教学过程中分析和解决问题的活动。

鉴于以上的反思性教学理论,本文认为中学教学中的反思教学主要是教师在教学活动中(主要是教学过程中)而进行的课前反思、教学过程中反思以及课后反思活动,这些反思活动既包括教师对教学情况和学生情况进行的反思活动,也包括教师对自身教学条件的反思。因此,在中学历史教学中,教师要加强对历史教学过程的反思活动,争取扬长避短,促进自身教学理论和教学经验的深化发展。

二、反思性教学在历史教学中的重要性

(一)历史教学中实行反思教学是更新教学理念的必要手段

在中学教学中,教师的教育行为和教育理念往往对课程教学起到了决定作用,也就是说,学生学到什么样的知识,获得怎样的能力,往往与教师的教学理念是息息相关的。过去传统的教学理念认为,课程教学只是教师教和学生学的过程,学生的学习跟教师的教学思想是没有必要联系的。随着我国教学的改革以及教学方式的创新,特别是新课程实施后,教学理念也出现了新的变化,这种变化主要体现在教师教学活动的转变上,这必然会对整个教学过程产生影响。反思教学作为一种有效的教学理念,可以帮助教师转变教育角色,从知识的传播者转变成学生学习的组织者和合作者,师生合作进行反思教学可以帮助教师在教学理念、教学方式上的转变,同时促进学生学习方式的转变,进而使学生对学习有了全新的认识,促进学生的全面发展。因此,在中学历史教学中,教师需要接受无论是来自外界还是自身的挑战,提高反思教学的实效性,进而促进历史教学的发展。

(二)历史教学中实行反思教学是提高教学质量的保障

反思教学是提高历史教学质量的重要保障,这主要是因为:一方面,历史教师通过反思教学可以增强对知识技能的熟悉和掌握,也可以通过反思教学灵活掌握教学方法、教学仪器等,这样可以调动学生学习的兴趣,有效提升教学质量,促进学生的发展;另一方面,教师通过课堂反思活动和课后反思活动,可以及时反馈学生的学习信息,帮助教师更清楚把握学生的学习情况,这样教师可以根据学生的学情适时调整教学方案,让教学更适合学生,进而提高学生的学习能力,并帮助学生逐步掌握学习的要义,提升学生学习的品质。

(三)历史教学中实现教学反思是促进教师职业成长的重要举措

反思是历史教师职业成长的有效途径,具有反思意识的历史教师能够及时总结、反省、修正,控制课堂教学进程,比较及时地反馈学生的学习过程,能保持在整个教学过程中对教学活动进行有意识的审视和评价。鉴于此,教师要不断加强自身的专业素质和教学技能,还要不断地从自己的教学经验中进行反思,纠正自己的教学行为,使教学实践趋于合理,符合课程改革的目标要求,符合时代的要求,促进自己的持续成长。同时历史教师对教学中存在的问题进行思考、总结,可为论文的撰写和课题的研发提供思路和素材。 三、历史教学中应用反思性教学的方法

(一)改变传统的教学理念

新课程改革使得我国许多学校都在教学体制方面进行了整改,体制改革的关键在于理念的变更,这就要求教师要将传统的教学理念加以剔除,在教学过程中将更多的目光投向学生,将过去应试教育下仅是关注学生考试分数的目光投向学生自身的特质,充分了解每个学生的性格特点,并在教学过程中利用对学生的了解开展分层教学的模式,令每个学生都能发挥自己最大的潜质,在学习效果上取得最大的收获。教师还应该培养学生自主学习的习惯,帮助学生树立终身学习的观念。

(二)涉及多方面知识,实现自身专业知识素养全面化

如今社会对知识型人才的渴求程度在不断地提高,这就要求教师要与时俱进,在对自身专业知识进行深化学习的过程中,也要对其他科学文化知识进行学习与了解,例如对文学性学科和人文知识的掌握,并对学科与学科之间的相互关系进行挖掘,使得自我储备的知识能够更好的为历史专业知识服务,进而使得学生接触到更广泛的知识,令中学历史课堂更加丰富多彩,为学生的学习生活添加趣味。

(三)教师要加强自身的职业道德修养

作为中学历史学科的教师,应积极响应新课程改革对教师提出的要求。热爱自己的本职工作,在工作中投入自身全部的热情,努力用自己敬业的态度去影响学生,让学生感受到学科的感染力;为学生提供自己所能给予的一切服务,教师这份工作不仅仅是教授课程这么简单,在为学生提供专业知识的基础上,更要为学生提供生活上的关心,成长上的帮助,心理上的疏导,让学生在学习生活中感受到温暖,真正的将班级当作家庭,才能使学生更好的融入其中;为人师表,对学生要严格要求也要宽容对待,要树立教师的威信也要保持亲和力。

  • 加强教学反思,提升教学实践能力

在历史教学中,教师要不断增强反思能力,通过不断的反思活动,教师可以训练出高度的教学敏感性,能够及时捕捉和反馈学生的学习信息,并对出现的教学难题和教学问题做出正确的判断和选择,从而帮助学生更好地掌握历史知识学习。因此,教师在反思教学过程中,要不断提升自己的教学实践能力,全面提升教学质量。

四、结语

综上所述,中学历史教学中应用反思教学是创新教学理念,提高教学质量乃至促进教师在教育生涯中不断成长的重要手段,为了提高历史教师的教学反思技能,教师在进行教学过程中首先应该转变教学理念,并不断提升自身的专业知识和实践能力,进而实现历史教学的反思教学的能力,提升教学质量和教学品质。
